Bernise Wedding - Church/Venue

Church and Venue:

The wedding ceremony will be held at the Divine Ascension Church in Kfarhabab (Ghazir) at 6:30PM on October 4, 2019. It is just south of the Casino du Liban, if any of you want to try your luck ;).

The wedding will be followed by an outdoor reception in Michael Garden (right next to the church). And by reception, we mean a night that you will hopefully never forget: a lavish dinner, exciting entertainment, and all the chances you need to show off your dancing skills.

Important Notes:

DRESS CODE: There is no specific dress color or theme in the wedding. At usual Lebanese weddings, formal attire is expected, where male attendees wear suits and female attendees wear formal gowns. For example, you will probably see (bow) ties, full-makeup, chignon hairstyles, floor-length evening dresses, and high-heels. There is no expected conservative clothing in the church. "Revealing" dresses will be seen. Some priests might prefer a light covering scarf. We don't know how open-minded ours will be!
WEATHER: If it's like previous years, the weather is expected to still be summery with the temperature in the mid to high 20's (Celsius). In the unlikely event of rain, Michael Garden also has an indoor venue. Please send positive vibes for that not to happen!
TRAFFIC: If you are coming to the venue from Beirut, you should be aware that there usually is gridlock traffic on the northbound highway on Fridays. So, we suggest you leave at least 3-4 hours before the ceremony starts on the special day.
