Travel Information

  • FLYING IN: You will be flying into Lebanon's only commercial airport, Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY). Most major airlines and airline alliances fly to BEY. The Lebanese airline company is called MEA (Middle East Airlines), a member of SkyTeam alliance. They have flights to and from most major cities in Europe, Africa, and Asia. The venue (Michael Garden) is about 30km north of the airport.
  • IMMIGRATION/VISA: Once you land, you will need to pass immigration. Many of you do not need a visa for entry in Lebanon, so you will queue in the internationals line at immigration. If you need a visa, it should be provided for you upon entry, so queue in the visa line at immigration. Please make sure to confirm your visa situation before coming to Lebanon.
  • SIM: After you pick up your bags and pass customs, you will enter the arrivals lounge. To the right of where you come out, there is a shop where you can purchase a Lebanese SIM card. Choose the prepaid plan you want. Lebanon has two mobile providers: Alfa and Touch.
